Question 6: A-level books for MCAT?
a. Is there a need to go through Alevel books for MCAT prep?b. Should I prepare for MCAT along with my 2nd year?
Answer
a. Nope. For some topics in Physics such as CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, you can study KIPS notes (which, btw, are a copy of an A level text) or watch a good enough animation or video. There is no need for you to buy or study A level books.
However, just to strengthen your concepts, read the topics you do not understand in your biology textbook from Campbell's Biology. It is the primary source of your Biology FSc Book.
There is no need to get A level books for other subjects. In the MCAT course, there are some topics which you might not find in your FSc texts. You can do those topics from notes provided by academy, or search them up on the internet.
b. There isn't any need to do this. Focus more on building concepts during 2nd year instead of overburdening yourself. If you can manage it, start doing the english vocabulary by making a list of related words, and start using them in your essays and stuff. That way, you won't be troubled with vocab. For more on how to study MCAT vocab using a novel way, read this.

- Click here to go to premed tab of our blog. Go through all the articles given over there. YOU MUST ALSO READ THE COMMENTS as a question like yours might already have been asked and answered.
- The question selected to be answered here will be one which most of the people can relate to and benefit from.
- Give a brief description of your problem. At the end of your email, briefly enumerate your questions once again so that nothing remains unanswered.
- Be nice and formal in your email. Do not rite like dis. Avoid using ch@t/$mS language. Use proper grammar, punctuation and correct spellings. If you cannot manage to do that, then please do yourself a favor and quit premed.
